Get ready for one of the quirkiest and most entertaining sporting events on the island – the Cursa Sant Carles Xtrem. This beloved race is a highlight of the San Carlos Festivities and is now celebrating its ninth edition.

Mark your calendars for November 4, 2023, a Saturday, at 15:45 hours in the Las Dalias car park in Ibiza.

As per tradition, participants will face a challenging obstacle course spanning 1,200 meters, and it’s highly likely that by the end, they’ll be adorned in mud. But what makes this event truly special is the tradition of running in disguise. It’s a whole lot of fun, whether you’re participating or cheering on the runners from the sidelines.

Registration is open until Friday, November 3, 2023, and you can sign up on the sportmaniacs.com website. The registration fee is a mere $6, and for the younger categories (from babies to cadets and special needs participants with a shorter route), registration is free.

You can collect your race bib between 15:15 and 16:40.
