“The Crimes of All Saints’ Day” Héctor Escandell, 2016 Spain, 90 minutes, horror/thriller V.O.
November 1970. Various human remains are discovered in a stream in Sant Miquel de Balansat, a small rural village in the north of Ibiza. Sergeant Prats, the head of the Spanish Civil Guard in the area, and Chief Ramírez, his new assistant, arrive at the scene where the bodies have been found. Prats is not particularly surprised by the discovery and reveals to the newcomer Ramírez that the discovery of human fragments has been recurring year after year for the past two decades.
