Roller Skating and Running Race! XVI Cursa Popular Pla de Sant Mateu 2024

This September, Sant Mateu d’Aubarca will once again host the XVI Cursa Pla de Sant Mateu, a revered fixture in Ibiza’s athletics calendar. On September 15th, the rural paths of Aubarca will come alive with runners tracing a circular route through the picturesque valley. The event features a 10-kilometer race consisting of two laps and a 5-kilometer race of a single lap, celebrating the end of summer amidst vineyards in full harvest. Additionally, a roller-skating race will kick off the festivities at 9:25 AM, with children’s races starting at 11:00 AM. Early registration begins July 1st, offering a discount for early participants. Maintaining the beauty of the locale is paramount; littering will result in immediate disqualification.
