Fiesta de Sant Jordi (Sant Jordi Festival)

The village of Sant Jordi celebrates its Patron Saint’s day on 23 April, offering a wide range of activities during the weeks before and after the festival. This year, the highlights include the “Nit de Rock Sant Jordi” on Friday 21 April, featuring live performances by Ultraghosts, Proyecto Panoestarmuertos, Pardals, and Apotropaico. On Saturday 22 April, the “Sant Jordi Miniramp Festival” takes place at the sports center of Can Guerxo, featuring skateboarding contests, music by DJs Ezekyel, Kace, Some, and Fossi, and a live concert by Thre3vil. The main square of Sant Jordi will host concerts by Sandy Valley, Magic Queen Alive (a tribute band to Queen), and DJ Vázquez from La Movida 80s party. On the big day, Sunday 23 April, the festivities continue with a mass, parade, traditional dances, children’s activities, a magic show, and live music by Aykya, Dr Trapero, Muchachito Bombo … Infierno, and DJ Lost Angels. Other events include a country wine and hierbas ibicencas contest at Bar Can Sala on Tuesday 25 April, the “IX Tour Jordier” street festival on Saturday 29 April, and a figure skating exhibition at the sports center of Can Guerxo on Sunday 7 May
